Summer Evenings was founded in January 2022 by Summer Albarcha, a Syrian-American woman and one of the early pioneers of the digital modest fashion space.
For nearly a decade, modest-dressing women were overlooked by both the fashion industry and the conversations shaping it. By carving her own path, Summer redefined what modest style could look like: modern, directional, and unapologetically elevated. She built a global following and collaborated with luxury brands on international styling campaigns.
Today, Summer Evenings exists to challenge outdated narratives and prove that modesty and modernity do not simply coexist — together, they create some of fashion’s most compelling moments.
In just under four years, Summer Evenings has reshaped the modest shopping experience in the United States. The brand produces exclusively in Türkiye with a Muslim, female-led team, prioritizing ethical sourcing, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design.
Originally created to fill the gap in accessible modest eveningwear, Summer Evenings has since expanded into a full range of elevated formal pieces for the modern modest woman. Through every collection, the brand remains rooted in its founding values: quality, creativity, and innovation.
